The actuators hold at 11.5 PSI so the lag has nothing to with the actuators.....The lag has to do with the turbo design and size as well as the components that are used and engine compression ratio. The reason the fuel curve looks lean at 4000 is because your use to seeing cars make power there. These turbos were not making any power at 4000....... I watched the boost just starting to come up at 4000 and a car not making boost should be in the 14 to1 range. the only reason it needs to be richer is when the boost comes in. I believe this is a fair chart for what these turbos will make with a stock ported exhaust manifold. They make a little more power then Sport 530's, But have a lot more Lag. They make a little less power then 2530's , And the Lag on 2530's is less also. I still like The sport 530's the best, Especially with a good manifold. The PE 1420 would do a lot better with a manifold , But I would use a 2530 before these. It was an interesting day. I drove the car when we were done and it feels great when it finally comes on, But the lag between gears would not work for me. Of Course these are just my opinions. Greg
